Clothing and Electronics Recycling
SmartCityPHL will pickup clothing and electronics and recycle them or get rid of them
responsibly for Philadelphia residents. Call or text PICKUP to 757-70-FETCH
(757-703-3824) to schedule a pickup.
Fall Leaf Recycling
Philadelphia leaf recycling program start Monday 11/9 and runs through Saturday 12/19.
Program is run by the Philadelphia Streets Department.
Bagged leaf dropoff is offered city-wide on Saturdays (except Nov. 14 and 28)9am-3pm in
13 locations. The Germantown location is 4800 Wayne Ave. (Happy Hollow Rec Center)
There also is supplemental mechanical leaf collection in some areas

Solar Panels Installations for Residents
Installers can apply for EZ Permit for Solar online through the Department of Licenses and
Inspections. This is a much easier process than the earlier ones were.
