Mark Alan Hughes, Ph.D.

Mark Alan Hughes, Ph.D. is a founding faculty director of University of Pennsylvania’s Kleinman Center for Energy Policy, a faculty fellow of the Penn Institute for Urban Research, and holds several other positions at the University of Pennsylvania. He was founding director for sustainability for Philadelphia. He will be talking about his view of the GND and what it means for our country.

Dan Lashof

Dan Lashof is Director of World Resources Institute (WRI) U.S. and coordinates WRI’s work in the U.S. across climate, energy, food, forests, water and the sustainable cities programs. Dan has been working to promote solutions to climate change for more than two decades. Before joining the World Resources Institute, Dan was the Chief Operating Officer of NextGen Policy Center and previously served as Director of the Climate and Clean Air Program at the Natural Resources Defense Council. He will talk in more detail about the GND and the science behind it as well as his own view of The Deal.
