Grants are for public purposes resulting in community improvement with a priority to addressing climate change. Despite some technical challenges at the radio station on Friday, we were able bring you a live on air radio show with some interesting informative discussions about Philadelphia’s sustainability efforts and a PES refinery update. We spoke about many of the different ways Philly is becoming a sustainable city despite big climate change challenges with Christine Knapp and Adam Agalloco of Philadelphia's Office of Sustainability. Also on this show, Peter Winslow gave us the latest on what is happening at PES refinery that blew it sell up last year, who might be acquiring the facility, and how they might run it.
